Brendan Kolkman-Quinn

Brendan received a B.Sc. with Honors in Physics from the University of Alberta in 2009. He later completed a B.Sc. in Geophysics in 2014 as an after-degree at the University of Calgary. He went on to work for ConocoPhillips Canada for two and a half years, working primarily on asset development teams. Brendan gained experience with 3D seismic interpretation, inversion, reservoir characterization, well planning, and induced seismicity.

In August 2019, Brendan joined CREWES and began a M.Sc. with Dr. Don Lawton. His research interests include machine learning, distributed acoustic sensing, and monitoring of CO2 sequestration.
