Dr. Rachel Lauer

Assistant Professor

Rachel acquired her Ph.D. in Geoscience at Pennsylvania State University.

Rachel heads up the Geofluids and Geohazards Research Group. Her areas of expertise include developing meaningful predictive models of fluid flow, subduction zone hydrogeology, and more recently, using electrical resistivity to monitor gas migration in the subsurface.

Rachel colaborates with CREWES with field work projects. She is one of the leaders of the GeoSciences department Geophysics Field School that takes place every year.
