Anton Ziegon

Ph.D. Student
Supervisor: Kris Innanen

Anton received a joint B.Sc. degree in geoscience with major in geophysics from LMU and TU Munich, Germany, in 2021, which included research on automated event detection of fluid-induced micro-seismicity. Then, he attended the IDEA League (TU Delft, ETH Zurich, RWTH Aachen University) joint M.Sc. program in applied geophysics which he graduated cum laude in 2023. During his M.Sc. he completed research projects on seismic velocity analysis using machine learning at the Aramco's geophysical research center in Delft, Netherlands, and on multi-physical joint inversion schemes at RWTH Aachen University, Germany.

In January 2024, Anton joined CREWES as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Kristopher Innanen. His research interests include inverse theory, seismic imaging, CO2 Sequestration, and geophysical resource exploration.
