Paloma completed her B.Sc. in Geophysics at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil, in 2018. Early on her bachelor’s she was part of the Research Center in Geophysics and Geology (LAGEP/CPGG) working at the Analysis of the Parnaiba Intracratonic Basin Project and later in the Non-Conventional Gas Research and Development Network in Brazil Project, focusing in processing seismic data from Brazilian sedimentary basins.

Paloma joined CREWES in September of 2021 to pursuit her M.Sc. degree under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Trad. Her research interests include seismic data processing, machine learning and CO2 sequestration.
