CREWES computer systems

The Consortium for Research in Elastic Wave Exploration Seismology(CREWES) makes great demands of it's computing facilities. As the need for greater computational speed and data storage has grown, the consortium has continuallyneeded to upgrade and expand its systems. In order to carry out leading edge research, it has acquired some of the world's best geophysical software, either by direct purchase or through the generosity of donors. This yearly report on the state of computing in CREWES will describe the systems and software used to perform ourresearch and present our results.
